In this comedy one is introduced to Gill who is 14 years old and obsessed with food; not only with eating it but also the cooking part of it. Her Mother is anorexic as well as alcoholic and furthermore she always brings home young men for sex, among others, the baker Stuart who is sexually versatile. Her Father used to be an Elvis impersonator, but is now nothing but a vegetable due to a car accident. However, most bizarrely he gets up once in a while to let Elvis comment on the current situation with one of his everlasting songs. It is an utterly wild and fantastic comedy that rapidly won the hearts of both critics and its audience.
