French text

A pedagogical and intimate duet between an actor and a pianist which continues what Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt initiated in his novel Ma vie avec Mozart: The great composers are not only composers, but spiritual guides who helps us and teaches us to live … By following the classes of the tyrannical Madame Pylinska, the young Eric-Emmanuel seeks to understand the mystery of Chopin’s music. The Polish woman has surprising ways of explaining the musician’s genius and the piano lesson gradually becomes a learning experience of life and love. The work was originally performed by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt himself accompanied by the pianist Nicolas Stavy, who interpretated the work by Chopin.
