Sarah Daniels debuterede som dramatiker på Royal Court, London. Hendes stykker er siden blevet opført på Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, på Royal Exchange Theatre i Manchester og på Albany Theatre i det sydlige London. Endvidere er Sarah Daniels den første kvinde, som har fået et stykke baseret på en lesbisk tematik NEAPTIDE opført på Royal National Theatre,(1986).
