Patricia Cornelius er australsk dramatiker, manuskriptforfatter og litterær forfatter. Hun og medstifter af Melbourne Workers Theatre har skrevet mere end 20 skuespil. Hun har bl.a. modtaget the 2011 Victorian and NSW Premiers’ Literary Awards, the Patrick White Playwright’s Award, the Richard Wherrett Prize, the Wal Cherry Award og hele ni AWGIES for stage, community theatre, theatre for young people. Hun vandt den prestigefulde Australian Writers Foundation Playwriting Award in 2015; the Patrick White Fellowship (2012), samt et Fellowship from the Australia Council’s Theatre Board. Patricia har vundet the AWGIE Major Award tre gange.
Patricia var medforfatter på filmbearbejdelsen BLESSED, baseret på skuespillet WHO’S AFRAID OF THE WORKING CLASS? (for hvilket hun vandt en AWGIE) og hun udvikler desuden film med instruktør Catriona McKenzie. Patricia skrev romanen MY SISTER JILL og adskillige af hendes dramaer er ligeledes udgivet.
