Ivan Calbérac is an author, director, script writer and playwright and has worked in cinema and theatre from the start of his carreer. He wrote the following long feature films Irène, Une semaine sur deux, L’étudiante et Monsieur Henri, Venise n’est pas en Italie as well as the series Marjorie for France 2 Télévision.
He has written the following plays : Le Bourreau, Tout un cinéma, L’étudiante et Monsieur Henri, and most recently Un amour de jeunesse which he also directed. He also wrote the film script of his latest play La dégustation which was awarded the Molière for Best Comedy in 2019 and starred Bernard Campan and Isabelle Carré. The film will be coming out during the second half of 2022.
He is currently working on his next film and a new play.
